The Regional Center for Agrarian Reform and Rural Development in the Near East (CARDNE), in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, organized the second national workshop of 2024 titled “Project Management and Risk and Crisis Management” from June 30, 2024, to July 4, 2024, at the center’s headquarters in Amman, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
the workshop addressed a set of key objectives, including:
- Complete understanding of project management
- In-depth comprehension of the topics related to project management
- Conducting analysis and studying the appropriate plan for project implementation
- Enabling participants to conduct economic feasibility studies
- Clarifying the concept of risks and crises
- Identifying the risks and crises that may face the project, the probability of their occurrence, and how to address them.
The outcomes of this workshop included:
- Equipping trainees with skills to help them plan for project implementation
- Equipping trainees with skills to understand and calculate the necessary project costs (and understand the relationship between cost and time)
- Equipping trainees with decision-making skills
- Equipping trainees with skills to seize opportunities for establishing or developing the project.
