Training Courses by JICA Iraq

In cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the Center conducted two training courses for employees of the Iraqi Ministry of Agriculture as part of the Third Country Training Program (TCTP). The aim of this training was to improve the infrastructure for economic and sustainable development, mitigate social gaps, and promote regional cooperation.

1.4 Training Course in Agricultural Extension for Horticultural and Field Crops: Smart Agriculture and Modern Techniques and Methods.
Duration of Training: 10 days
This new concept refers to the use of technology in agriculture and agricultural practices to enhance efficiency, productivity, and sustainability in food production. It includes various types of technologies such as precision agriculture, smart irrigation, biotechnology, and automation. Additionally, there has been significant technological advancement in areas such as indoor vertical farming and livestock technology.
