In cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation in the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Center held a national workshop under the auspices of His Excellency the Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, represented by the agricultural extension sector. The Regional Center for Agrarian Reform “CARDNE” held a national workshop during the period from 26 to 28 January 2025.
For his part, Dr. Alaa Azzouz, Chairman of the Board of Directors, stressed the importance of this workshop, which lasted for three days, during which she discussed a number of topics, including: food security policies in Egypt, integrated management of natural resources and its role in improving food security, field crop development to achieve food security and sustainable agricultural development, as well as livestock and poultry development, a key pillar to achieve sustainable agriculture and enhance food security, and the role of agricultural innovation in enhancing agricultural food security in rural areas.
The conclusion of the workshop and the distribution of certificates to the trainees came in the presence of: Dr. Alaa Azzouz, Head of the Agricultural Extension Sector, and Dr. Muwafaq Al-Sarhan, Executive Director of the Regional Center for Agrarian Reform and Rural Development in the Near East “CARDNE”.
